John Machtinger is the founder and principal attorney at Machtinger Law APC, a law firm helping accident and injury victims in Los Angeles, Orange County, and across Southern California recover significant compensation after suffering serious or catastrophic injuries or losing a loved one to wrongful death. He also served as a Deputy District Attorney (criminal prosecutor) with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office and authored a widely-used legal treatise on California and federal firearms law.
In 2010, Mr. Machtinger joined Timothy Black to form Black & Machtinger LLP. Since that time and continuing through his own law firm Machtinger Law APC, he has exclusively represented plaintiffs in serious injury and wrongful death cases.
